01 — Two doors

Most agencies sell hours. Most product shops sell software. We do neither.

The Raid Lab runs two parallel operations: R&D for bounded experiments, and AI consulting & agent services for putting AI to work.

They share a brand, a methodology, and a team. They don’t share a price sheet.

02 — Door 1 / R&D

R&D

Bounded AI experiments for teams with a hypothesis to test.

You have an idea. Maybe it’s an internal workflow that should be automated. Maybe it’s a customer-facing tool you’ve been kicking around. Maybe it’s a feature your engineering team can’t get to for six months. You want to know if AI can actually solve it before you commit a budget.

That’s what R&D is for. We scope, prototype, and deliver a working proof-of-concept in 4 weeks. You get the prototype, the documentation, and an honest read on whether it should become a product.

Engagement

  • Week 1

    Scope

Define success criteria. Map the data and integrations.

  • Weeks 2–3

    Prototype

Build, iterate with you in the loop.

  • Week 4

    Deliver

    Ship, document, debrief.

Investment

$10,000–$25,000 fixed fee

Discovery workshops available at $2,500 for teams not ready to commit to a full sprint.

03 — Door 2 / AI Consulting & Agent Services

AI Consulting & Agent Services

Figure out where AI fits — then put it to work. Advisory when you need direction, a running operation when you need output.

Most teams don’t need a model. They need someone who has shipped real AI systems to tell them which problems are worth automating, which tools are hype, and where the quiet risks are.

Once the plan is clear, we build the operation that runs it: specialized AI agents handling the recurring work — research, writing, editing, scheduling — calibrated to your voice and reviewed before anything ships.

AI Consulting

A vendor-neutral read on where AI pays off.

  • An AI opportunity audit of your workflows
  • A build-or-buy roadmap, ranked by effort and risk
  • A plan your team can act on — with or without us

Agent Services

A content operation that runs without your input, built on AI agents.

  • A monthly content engine, calibrated to your voice
  • A research layer that doesn’t sleep
  • One human contact, zero coordination overhead

04 — Studio Services

Production capabilities, on call.

Beyond the software, the Lab runs hardware. When a project needs something captured, printed, or shot, these are in-house.

Service

Drone

Aerial capture, mapping, and inspection — flown by a licensed pilot, delivered as data you can use.

Marketing capture · orthomosaics & 3D models · roof/structure inspection

Service

3D Printing

From ideation to creation — we've built toys, camera accessories, and even custom car parts.

Prototypes · small-run parts · custom one-offs

05 — How we work

Lab process. Agency cadence.

  1. 01Scope

We map the problem before we propose the work. Most projects don’t need what the client thinks they need. Discovery is free.

  2. 02Build

We use AI agents for execution and humans for judgment. Every deliverable passes through review before it reaches you.

  3. 03Ship

We measure what worked, document what didn’t, and keep what compounds. Bad work doesn’t ship under our name.

  4. 04Iterate

For retainers, we revisit the engine quarterly. For projects, we deliver a debrief and a recommendation on what to do next.

06 — About

About The Raid Lab.

The Raid Lab is a founder-run operation that builds and runs AI agent systems — for clients, and for our own products first.

It was started by Beau Rapelye, who spent a decade building brand and content systems in-house for growth-stage consumer brands before turning the same eye toward the systems that make the work. The bet behind the lab is simple: AI can do the volume, but it takes human judgment to know what’s worth shipping. So that’s how we’re built — agents execute, humans make the calls, and nothing goes out under our name that we wouldn’t stand behind.

We build for ourselves, too — our own products, with the same agent-driven methodology we’d bring to your work. The approach gets pressure-tested on software we own before it ever touches a client. When something ships, you’ll hear about it.

Based in Kansas City. Working with clients anywhere with a calendar.

07 — Good Company

The company we keep.

A network of likeminded businesses that inspire and sharpen how we work. We cross-promote and refer freely — when a project needs something outside the Lab, these are the names we pass along.
